Upcoming Nature Journaling Club Dates
May 10—Heart K Ranch
June 14—Mountain Meadows Gateway Preserve
August 9—Olsen Barn Meadow
September 13—Leonhardt Ranch Learning Landscape
October 11—Sierra Valley Preserve
What to bring: A notebook or journal, graphite pencils, colored pencils, clipboard, and any other preferred art materials, water bottle and sun protection, dress in layers, and wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes, a chair to sit in
What to expect: For this inaugural meeting, we will begin the day by discussing group/club processes for formation. Then, as John Muir Laws, aka Jack, would say, we’ll be putting in some “pencil miles”, and do some guided/prompted drawing. We will have a potluck afterward for those who would like to participate.
Stay tuned for details and directions as we get closer to each meeting!
